From the Classroom to PortaPros: Kim Bayless’ Remarkable Journey

Kim Bayless brings with her a well-rounded and varied professional background that spans across multiple industries—and her journey to PortaPros is nothing short of inspiring. After serving our country in the U.S. Army, Kim dedicated over two decades to education, shaping young minds as a passionate teacher across multiple grade levels. From homeschooling her own children to guiding 8th graders through physical science, her ability to lead with empathy and structure became second nature.

After moving cross-country three and a half years ago, Kim took a bold step into a new chapter, joining the PortaPros team. Today, she plays a key role in supporting and connecting departments across the company—and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her on our team.

A Life of Balance: How Kim Spends Her Time

Outside of work, Kim is a woman of many interests. Whether she's immersed in a great book or hitting the trails for a hike or run, she finds joy in both movement and mindfulness. Her hobbies reflect a dynamic balance—bowling and yoga, wine tastings and crafts, football games and quiet moments tending her yard.
