Staying GAP-compliant in the Treasure Valley with PortaPros
To ensure you pass your Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) audits without any question PortaPros implements the highest level of GAP best practices as required by the United States Department of Agriculture and recommended by the Portable Sanitation Association International. So whether your farm is in Oregon or Idaho, here’s how PortaPros can help keep your crews working:
Our wash stations and restrooms are engineered to meet GAP requirements. We eliminate leaks and splashes by plumbing our sinks directly to our waste tanks. Our doors are self-closing. We also have a fully self-contained wash basin built onto each trailer-mounted unit.
Finding the right spot for your facilities can be tricky– they need to be readily accessible for workers yet safely removed from crops and flood risks. The PortaPros staff will place your rentals in a spot your employees – and state inspectors – will approve of.
Our rentals undergo a weekly service performed away from the fields. All waste is safely removed, and units are thoroughly cleaned with an approved sanitizer. PortaPros also restocks toilet paper, paper towels and hand sanitizer at each service.
Your equipment will have all the necessary paperwork and certifications you’ll need ahead of any pre-planned audits. That includes Standard Operating Procedures, Spill Plans and Water Reports. We don’t think it should be your job to explain how we do our job.
